Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By using MindCan™ (the “Software”), provided by BNDR LLC (“we”, “us”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. The product

MindCan is a local-first spatial canvas application that runs in your web browser. The Free plan includes all core features with a limit on the number of cards per canvas. MindCan Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited cards via a license key. Pro is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for your own purposes. A Pro license key is for your own use; activation is per device. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share license keys, or misrepresent the Software as your own product.

4. Purchases & refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe or Gumroad on their own checkout pages; their terms apply to the transaction.
Refunds follow the policy of the store you purchased through. If something is genuinely broken, contact support and we will make it right.
License keys revoked due to refund or chargeback will no longer validate.

5. Your content

Everything you create in MindCan is yours and stays on your device. We claim no rights over it and have no access to it. You are responsible for exporting backups of anything important — local browser storage can be cleared by you, your browser, or your operating system.

6. Optional AI features

AI Synthesis uses your own DeepSeek API key and sends your board's compiled text directly from your browser to DeepSeek. Your use of DeepSeek is governed by DeepSeek's own terms and pricing. AI output can be inaccurate; review it before relying on it. We are not responsible for third-party API costs, availability, or output.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Software for unlawful purposes, or to attempt to circumvent license validation other than as documented (e.g., activating a legitimately purchased key).

8. Disclaimer of warranty

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BNDR LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
